Who we are

Cernere AI LLC (“Cernere,” “we”) operates cernere.ai and the contact API at api.cernere.ai. Contact: [email protected]. Principal place of business: Dallas, Texas, USA.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we process:

• Name
• Email address
• Company name (optional)
• Message content
• Technical metadata needed to deliver and protect the service (for example, approximate network address via Cloudflare, timestamp, and rate-limit keys)

We do not create user accounts on this marketing site. We do not sell personal information.

Why we process it

We use contact submissions to respond to business inquiries and evaluate potential engagements. Legal bases typically include steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in operating a business contact channel. Where required, we rely on your consent to be contacted about the subject of your message.

How it is handled

• Form data is transmitted over HTTPS via Cloudflare to our origin over a private tunnel (not a publicly opened origin port).
• The application emails the submission to our business mailbox using a Google Workspace SMTP path. Message content then lives in email (and any backups or devices that sync that mailbox).
• Application logs are designed to avoid storing message bodies, names, or email addresses; operational logs may include timestamps, error codes, and coarse request metadata.
• We do not run third-party marketing pixels on this site.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained as long as needed for correspondence, engagement records, and legitimate business or legal purposes, then deleted or archived according to our internal email practices. Rate-limit counters are short-lived (hours).

Processors / infrastructure

• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN/WAF edge, and tunnel connectivity
• Google Workspace — business email delivery and mailbox storage
• Self-hosted origin on infrastructure we control (application containers)

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR/UK GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA where applicable), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

Children

This site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this notice as our practices or services change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
